First look and first thoughts – the new Lord of the Rings adventure game, Battle in Balin’s Tomb.
A lovely big box came in the mail the other day with a pile of Games Workshop goodies in it, and here’s a good look at the first item: the new Lord of the Rings adventure game, Battle in Balin’s Tomb (though I’ve since been told these miniatures sculpts are very old and from the original starter set for the Middle-Earth Strategy Game). Let’s have a look at what’s in the box and the assembled miniatures, and I’ll also give you a quick gameplay overview and my initial thoughts. Gameplay review coming soon!
