Afraid my dear? There’s nothing to be afraid of.
Organise your spell books with this set of foamcore box insert plans for Wiz-War.
The classic game of wizardly combat, Wiz-War, is always a hoot to play, though all those counters and spell cards can get a bit mixed up in the box. What you need is an EOG foamcore box insert plan. Abracadabra! Voila, here’s one.
Now before anyone asks, this design doesn’t include provision for the two expansion sets, because I don’t actually own them. It is quite spacious though, and I’ll be interested if those of you who own the expansions can tell me if it fits them. I prefer to keep my expansions in their original boxes; but if you don’t, feel free to modify this basic design to your heart’s content! And as always, check everything carefully before proceeding because small errors can sometimes slip through the net.
Great design! Nice to see more plans coming along, thanks a lot.
Here’s another Wiz-War insert: http://www.orderofgamers.com/forums/topic/wiz-war-eighth-edition-insert/
Yes, yours is so much more detailed and complex – nice one. More plan on the way, I have a bit of a backlog of old designs to put in plan form.
Any way you could share your insert plans?
I am curious about what software you use to create your PDFs. I would love to be able to share my foam core designs in a similar fashion as you do. Also, thanks for all the tools you create for us gamers. They are much appreciated and well used.
I’m a professional graphic designer by trade and use the Adobe Creative Suite graphic design programs (CS6 – I refuse to sign up for their Creative Cloud subscription system). Photoshop for the images. Foamcore designs are put together in Illustrator. Rules summaries are done in inDesign.
And this is probably where I am weakest: Adobe products. I guess I should spend the time to get to know them. Thanks for the info.
