Perucho, don’t you think the cannon might be a little bit rusty?
More painted Nasier figures from Wrath of Kings.
Looking back on my Wrath of Kings painted figure showcases I realised that I hadn’t really shown off the Ashmen Swordsmen figures properly, and had completely missed the Pelegarth Howls. Next time when I do the Hadross I’ll be more organised!
In the meantime, here’s a good look at the swordsmen in their various poses, and the three Pelgarth Howl leader figures, who are notable for their Knockback ability that can send enemies careening into each other.
Tomorrow I’ll wrap up the Nasier by showing you the Greathorn model.
Its very inspiring to see your massed Ashmen and the Howls. I like the consistent cohesive look you’ve achieved.
Are your three banners different colours ? It is a good idea for differentiating the groups.
I still don’t think the design choice of wolfy heads on the howls gels with the rest of the faction too well.
I’ve been completely slack colour-wise and just followed the ‘official’ schemes, but then I’ve never been one for coming up with my own colour schemes. For the banner, I made two black and one red, but good point, I may repaint one. You’re right again about the wolf heads, it’s more a Goritsi thing isn’t it?
Just got my new boxes this morning, so I’l be adding the Fell Hammers and Unmasked to this army soon!
Wait… you got your order from the USA already??? My Carcharians are still On The Way… and we shipped on the same day!!! 🙁
Yeah I did – weird!
Oh, well… good for you. could you post some photos of the Carcharians? haven’t been able to find many on the Internet.
What colour would you pick for the third banner ? Black with red stripes ? Brown, White or Gold or maybe the pink/magenta of some of the character’s skin.
Congrats on your Naiser work and also the new wave of boxes. Looking forward to seeing your Fell Hammers painted up.
The scheme is very black grey and red so I’d probably go dark grey with white stripes. Cheers mate!
I like the purple skin tone. Washes and inks are something I have little experience with.
I’m a functional painter, not a skilled one. Kinda like my cooking. It tastes OK, but doesn’t always look good. Functional, but lacking presentation.
Practice practice practice! Actually I’m finding lately that I’ve come up against a bit of a wall skill-wise and that I have to put in some effort learning some new techniques if I want to be a better painter. The problem is, I always have so many figures to paint that it’s a matter of plowing through them and getting them done rather than being able to take the time to experiment and improve.
Time is an illusion. Lunchtimes doubly so.
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
Life! Don’t talk to me about life…
Woohoo! Sot my Carcharians in today! Sadly, won’t have time to play a game with them as I’m scheduled to visit my sis in Sydney next week 🙁
Shame I’m not still in Sydney, we could have had a beer! Say hello to my old stomping ground.
Yup! Will do.
BTW, did you ever get your missing Goritsi starter? My missing pieces are on their way (got a tracking number and everything).
Hoping that’s going to arrive in the next couple of days, along with the extra leader figures I missed out on during the Kickstarter. Then I’ll have everything released so far!
You mean you got the Twilight Knight as well???
What’s that? (Obviously not!) 🙂
Hahaha. Well, you did say “everything”… 😉
