Sextus, you ask how to fight an idea. Well I’ll tell you how… with another idea!
Welcome to a newsy new video segment called Action Points!
Allow me to introduce a completely new video segment, brought to you thanks to the generosity of the wonderful people who subscribe to and support the Esoteric Order of Gamers: Action Points! In this irregular series, I’ll be chatting about what I’m doing in gaming lately, some of the things going on in gaming in the wider world, and also sharing with you news and updates about the EOG. Of course it’s not much of a chat if it’s one-sided, so I encourage you to respond! Be sure to let me know what you think of the new segment and vote on your preference for the next rules summary subject.
I hope you enjoy the new Action Points format – I’m looking forward to your comments! By the way, if you didn’t know, links to all the social media sites mentioned can be found at the top and bottom of every website page.
Mythic Battles Please!
+1 for Mythic Battles!
I like the new Action Points video, keep ’em coming. Glad to support EOG and the good work you do.
Seriously, why game companies don’t give you the job of final editing and graphic design for their rules I don’t know. Your summaries are 100% better than the original rules 90% of the time for a total of 900% better!
Thankyou Sean! I like your math. 🙂 I do occasionally do editing and design work for games. In an ideal world I’d that kind of imaginative and interesting work more often, only the projects tend to be far more time consuming and with lower budget expectations than ‘normal’ corporate design.
I’ll second Mythic Battles: Pantheon, but Necromunda would be good too. Obviously my choices go to the two games that I own 🙂
Fallout please.
+1 for Mythic Battles . Thanks!!
Mythic Battles, all the way!
+1 for Mythic Battles, and I look forward to your speed painting videos as I have a lot of minis to paint. A little time on what paints you buy or good starter sets would be appreciated. Maybe some basic tools as well?
I do get lots of requests on which paints and tools to buy when starting, so I’ll definitely put together a checklist next time I do a painting tutorial.
