BattleLore 2nd Edition Painting Tutorial: Part 2

By October 21, 2014July 26th, 2019Battle Reports, Boardgames, Figure Painting, Videos

You strike me with words hard as steel!

Work continues apace on BattleLore 2nd Edition: now let’s finish ‘em off!

Now that you have the basics down, let’s skim quickly over completing the rest of the miniatures in BattleLore 2nd Edition. I finish off the cavalry, plough past the flesh rippers, storm through 60—count ‘em, 60—infantry and bowmen, and charge ruthlessly through the large figures. To finally emerge victorious!

I hope there have been a few helpful tips in here for new and experienced painters alike. And of course, I’m always open to new techniques and advice—I’m no expert, I’ve just been doing this for a long time; and no doubt I could have picked up a few bad habits along the way.

Another excellent tutorial. How much time do you estimate it has taken you to do the entire set? How did you do the green bases by the way?

Thanks for taking the time to share the video

    • Ah, I thought someone would ask me that, and unfortunately I didn’t keep track. Probably three weeks of on-again-off-again evenings and a couple of longer weekend sessions. Filming adds time to the process too.

There’s a description of the basing technique in part 1.
