A unique combination of cooperative game play and opportunistic backstabbing.
Those of you who remember the old D&D days will probably find Cutthroat Caverns bringing back memories of your old dungeon-bashing days. It’s a basically simple card game where dungeon-delving characters fight a series of beasties with attack and action cards. The twist is, only the player who lands the killing blow gets the kudos. Cue back-stabbing, treachery and underhandedness, and a lot of laughs. This rules summary is taken from the updated second edition rules, and includes summaries of all four expansions.
The game also has the advantage of working especially well with a larger number of players (up to 6).
Has this been updated to account for the new version of CC that game out last year? I’m not 100% sure what the changes were, just that there was a new edition that came out.
No, it hasn’t. No great plans to track down that info just now, but one day I’ll get around to it!
