400 million people, and every one of them a potential criminal
I’m fortunate enough to get a lot of freebies these days, but I still find myself succumbing to temptation and buying games I know I’ll never have the time to play. Such is my love of all things Judge Dredd that I had to grab this one, even after Warlord Games knocked back my request for a review copy!
But miniatures games take time and dedication to play – and even more to expand – so this I Am The Law starter set has so far remained on the shelf, though I have painted the nice miniatures. It is a bit bare-bones – just 10 models (2 judges and 8 perps), a very nice softback rulebook full of great art, dice, counters, 2D terrain tokens, cards, and a paper gaming mat – and I may have missed the boat, as already minis for the game are getting harder to find. But the system reads well, and I’ve heard good things about it. One day I’ll get it to the table, and since I’m such a sucker for all things Judge Dredd then perhaps I’ll find myself having to hunt down new models at exorbitant prices on Ebay. Oh no!
In the meantime, I have, of course, made a rules summary and reference. Enjoy.
