I want to get online… I need a computer!
Let’s jack in to the cyperpunk world of Human Interface: Be a Better Human by Postindustrial Games. Good advice for us all!
Postindustrial Games emailed me out of the blue a few weeks back and said ‘would you like a copy of our new game Human Interface: Be a Better Human? After checking it out online I replied ‘you’re damn right I would!’. I do get offers of games occasionally, but rest assured I only accept ones that I find personally interesting. I’m not going to waste your time with crappy games I don’t want in my collection!
So here it is, and I must say I’m impressed, especially since this is a publisher I’d not hear of before. Everything looks good quality and it’s certainly dripping with the cyberpunk theme. I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but I’ve already painted half the miniatures, and I’m looking forward especially to see how the deck of Netrunnerish programs integrates into the gameplay. Stay tuned for more opinions soon!
I missed the First game…I think it had the sub-title Nakamura Tower. When I saw the game in Essen a few years ago it peaked my interest. With the new one I jumped on board the KS. Now I am waiting to get my copy…really excited. Interested in your opinion when you got your first game in. And of cause looking forward to the summery 😉
I finished painting all the miniatures in just a few days, the minis in the core set are pretty straightforward and easy to do (black ops guys and robots are one colour 😉 Looking forward to trying out the system very soon.
I’m so jealous. I backed the KS and I’m still waiting for them to start shipping the game 😛
I think I need to start a games channel of my own 😀
Ha ha – trust me, you have *no* idea how much work is involved in return for that occasional freebie.
Haha. Trust me: I do. I occasionally shoot and edit videos to help out a literacy foundation. This is off my background in advertising. 😉
Well, it’s not just videos CK, I easily spend more than 15 hours a week on the EOG in addition to my fulltime job. Not to mention the 15 years building a rep in the games industry… Making the vids is the easy part – building an audience is another story entirely, especially in such a crowded field.
Oh yes. That part is of course the long haul. That’s why I said I’d better get a head start 😀
