After watching this exceptional and ground-breaking Shut Up & Sit Down review I just had to grab this compact WWII game from Osprey Games, who have been doing some great stuff lately. With a nice little blend of cards, terrain tiles and counters, this looks like just the thing for short, tactical WWII squad battles—even if it does cover the battles of Normandy after D-Day again. As SU&SD so rightly points out, without detracting in any way from the heroism of the D-Day landings and their aftermath, there are many, many other WWII battles to cover and stories to explore—many of which actually don’t feature Americans.
