Painting the Necromunda: Ash Wastes terrain? Check out this tutorial using the magic of chipping medium!
It didn’t take me too long to quickly paint the Ash Wastes gangs to a good tabletop level (fancy highlighting can wait for the moment!), but the terrain was a more daunting prospect. After doing a bit of searching on this thing called net, I discovered a wonderful substance called Vallejo Chipping Medium, which inspired me to pull out the old airbrush from where it was languishing in a bottom drawer and give this new process a go. And the results were just perfect for this worn, rusty, grungy, sand-blasted terrain. Luckily, I happened to film the process for your edification while I was doing it – enjoy!
