The Joy of Unboxing: The Battle of Five Armies

My Precious! My Precioussss! The Battle of Five Armies is here! Let’s unbox it together shall we?

As you all know by now, War of the Ring is one of my very favourite games. So I was waiting expectantly for Battle of Five Armies, the new game from Ares Games that uses roughly the same mechanics (and some of the figure designs) but zooms in on the huge battle at the end of J.R.R Tolkien’s The Hobbit. And just the other day, it arrived with a thunk on the doorstep of our hobbit hole.
