It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.
Developing a theory about the Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island expansion Voyage of the Beagle.
My favourite cooperative boardgame is Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island, so I couldn’t resist picking up this very attractive expansion Voyage of the Beagle the other day, even though I know it will be quite some time before I get through the core game’s content and can tackle this expansion’s scenarios. Voyage of the Beagle is a ‘campaign’ of sorts, with a series of interlinked scenarios that follow Charles Darwin’s famous journey on the H.M.S. Beagle, when he developed his theory (‘theory’, that is, in its scientific definition meaning ‘the most comprehensively proven form of scientific knowledge’) of evolution.
It looks very complex and when I finally get around to playing this expansion it should provide many challenging and tension-filled hours of gameplay. Note this copy is the Z-Man Games distributed edition; Portal Games now distribute this game themselves.
I really know nothing about Robinson Crusoe other than it seems quite popular. Your comment about it being your favorite cooperative game definitely has me intrigued.
Thanks, as always, for the great video.
